RelaDyne has announced that it has acquired Palatine Oil Company, a fuels and lubricants distributor based in Chicago, Illinois. RelaDyne is a distributor of packaged and bulk fuels, lubricants and Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) in Central and Southern U.S. The company has invested heavily in the growth of its fuels and lubricants business in 2015, with the latest acquisition marking the fourth this year.
Headquartered in Cincinnati, OH, RelaDyne distributes in nine states in Central and Southern U.S and delivers around 3 million gallons of DEF annually. The new purchase will extend RelaDyne's DEF availability in Illinois.
"It is a pleasure to welcome Palatine customers and associates to the RelaDyne family," said Larry Stoddard, Chief Executive Officer for RelaDyne. "This acquisition will significantly enhance our fuel and lubricants position in the Chicago markets", he added.
Jeff Hart, Executive Vice President of Business Development for RelaDyne, commented on the acquisition, "This deal represents our fourth acquisition in 2015, and we anticipate closing significantly more acquisitions this year as we continue to create a national platform."
Earlier in 2015, RelaDyne acquired San-Antonio-based RediFuel, Fentress Oil Company and Greg Wright Supply thereby expanding RelaDyne's footprint in Texas, Oklahoma and Indiana.
