The price paid by fleets for Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) at the pump remained level at $2.79 per gallon between May and June 2013, according DEF Tracker.
The U.S. national average pump price has now remained level for the seventh consecutive month, while the Canadian average has remained at CA$0.79 since the first truck stop added bulk DEF facilities in October 2011.
Christopher Goodfellow, Market Analyst at Integer Research, publisher of DEF Tracker, said: "Truck stop chains have invested in a massive nationwide pump infrastructure for DEF. Pilot Flying J and Love's Travel Stops, the two biggest retailers in terms of location numbers, expect to offer DEF at every location in the next six months."
