Christopher Goodfellow - 3 October 2012

Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) price reference service DEF Tracker plans to rapidly expand the number of hubs covered in its monthly report.

Price references are being added to DEF Tracker for Portland, OR, in October, Calgary, AB, in November and Charlotte, NC, in December. The publication currently covers Houston, TX, Los Angeles, CA, New York, NY, Cincinnati, OH, Chicago, IL, Tampa, FL, Baltimore, MD, Toronto, ON, and Montreal, QC, and the team will continue to add new pricing hubs as the market grows

References include retail pricing for full truck load bulk and less than full truck load bulk deliveries, tote refill and 2.5 gallon jugs, as well as DEF pump prices for every U.S. state and Canadian province offering the facility. Data is combined with analysis from industry experts.

The national U.S. pump price fell by one cent to $2.76 per gallon between August and September, according to DEF Tracker. The average tote price across the seven U.S. hubs fell over the same period.
