Liquid handling specialist Semler Industries plans to launch a bulk Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) transfer system called the DEF-Distributor, at the Petroleum Equipment Institute show on October 2nd 2011, in Chicago, IL.
Salim Rowe, Market Analyst and Development Specialist at Semler, told discoverDEF.com: "We want to get to the market and tell stakeholders that we do have these bulk DEF transportation systems. We are right in-line pricing wise and we have finished all our testing and due diligence.
"We have engineered our systems to optimize performance as well as life span. After months of research in this market, we are ready to launch what we believe will be the most reliable system in the market."
The unit comes in standard model 70gpm flow rate (other flow rates are available) and all fluid-contact components meet the ISO 22241-3 standard and are tested, flushed and sealed prior to shipment, to prevent DEF contamination.
The system minimizes air and particulate contamination of DEF (includes Micro Matic USA RSV 4-pin tote couplers), and includes a series of other features. The full system specifications are available on the company's website.
