Wakefield opens solutionizing facility in Canada

Christopher Goodfellow - 4 October 2011

Wakefield Canada has opened its first DEF solutionizing facility to manufacture the company's H2Blu-branded Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). The facility was opened on September 30 2011 in Toronto, Ontario.

The facility was completed well ahead of its original timetable, in response to strong sales of DEF in the first six months of 2011.

Wakefield will manufacture and package its DEF in its existing lubricant blending plant in Long Branch, Toronto. The company says this will enable it to control the purity of the product.

Wakefield Canada began selling DEF from Toronto in May 2011.
