Rebecca Hayward - 6 March 2014

Case Construction Equipment (CSE) has announced that its 821F and 921F wheel loaders meet the latest Tier 4 Final emissions regulation.

The off-road wheel loaders are equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology and require the use of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). Each loader has a 6.7-liter Tier 4 Final certified engine and the 821F and 921F produce 212 and 241 net horsepower, respectively.

CSE claims the machines provide up to a 10% increase in fuel economy compared to their predecessors.

Tier 4 Final came in to force in January 2014 for these vehicles.
