DEF Tracker: U.S. Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) tote refill prices continue decline in August, similar trend in Canada

The August edition of DEF Tracker showed that U.S. average prices for tote refills dropped by six cents per gallon during the month of August over the previous month. In Canada, prices followed a similar trend and average prices for tote refills dropped by two cents in the same period.

Salt Lake City, UT, posted the highest average price for tote refills while Cincinatti, OH, and Atlanta, GA, registered the lowest average prices among all areas covered by the DEF Tracker.

DEF truck stop prices once again remained stable at $2.79 per gallon in the U.S. since November 2012 and at CAD$ 0.80 per litre in Canada since October 2011. Out of 33 new pumps distributing bulk DEF in North America, thirteen are located in Canada.
