discoverDEF recently added the first DEF pumps for New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Nova Scotia has one site online in Enfield, a Circle K store operated by Irving Oil. New Brunswick also has a Circle K/Irving Oil store offering DEF at the pump, in the town of Salisbury.
Ontario has the largest pump infrastructure of any province, with 12, followed by Alberta which has 11 equipped sites. The truck stop brands Petro Canada and Pilot Flying J lead in developing bulk infrastructure, with 14 locations each offering DEF at the fuel island.
Major US truck stop brand Love's Travel Stops does not yet operate any equipped sites in Canada. TA Travel Centers operates one equipped site in Woodstock, Ontario; however, this supplies DEF at the store rather than at the fuel island.
The average price of DEF at the pump in Canada has remained at CAD$0.80 per litre for the last two years (equivalent to US$2.85 per gallon).
