DEF Tracker: Bulk Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) prices look for direction as feedstock prices fall

The October edition of DEF Tracker showed that while bulk DEF prices rose slightly in the U.S., the average price for tote refills dropped by four cents per gallon since September, and the tote price also came down slightly in Canada.

The highest average prices for tote refills and multi-drop deliveries were on the West Coast and in the Central & Southern region, while St. Louis, MO, registered the lowest average prices among all areas covered this month.

The national average price of DEF at truck stops came back down to $2.79 per gallon in the U.S. (after an increase to $2.80 per gallon in September), which has been the average price since November 2012. In Canada, price remained at CAD$ 0.80 per liter, unchanged since October 2011.
