Yara announces Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) network expansion at DeliveryONE expo

Yara announced the expansion of its Air1 network at the Mansfield Oil DeliveryONE expo held in Denver, CO, on 29 August.

In addition to the recent opening of the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) manufacturing facility in Belle Plaine, Saskatchewan, several new locations have been added to the Air1 supply network this year. Locations include El Paso, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Coffeyville, KS; Arlington, TX; Joliet, IL; St Louis, MO; and Chesapeake, VA, in the US and Niagara Falls, ON, and Montreal, QC, in Canada.

New supply locations due to come online before the end of 2013 include Tampa, FL, and Vancouver, BC. The expected start-up date of Port Comfort, TX, is still under discussion while the Stockton, CA, terminal is planned to be upgraded to an import terminal by the end of the year.

Yara also has storage capacity along the North American coast for imports of 1 million metric tonnes of urea which can be used for DEF blending.
