Blue Sky and Brewer Hendley partner to form Blue Sky Southeast

Prime Lube, the parent company of Blue Sky East, has announced a strategic partnership with the Brewer Hendley Oil Company of Marshville, NC, to manufacture and distribute Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) in the south east.
The 15,000 square foot plant will begin production in New Marshville, North Carolina, in April 2012, with an annual DEF capacity of approximately 3.5 million gallons.
Robert Arbasetti, chief operating officer of Prime Lube, said: "We are excited about our association with Brewer Hendley Oil, a first-rate and diversified petroleum company, and the expansion of our supply and distribution of Blue Sky DEF to customers in the Southeast."
Blue Sky Southeast will deliver DEF to locations in a six-state area that includes North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi, according to a statement from the company. The Marshville plant is the third Blue Sky East facility in the U.S. and the first in the south east region.

Earlier in the month, Blue Sky East announced Elite Petroleum will distribute Blue Sky DEF in Central Kentucky. Danville-based Elite Petroleum specializes in providing industrial, commercial and agricultural customers with bulk fuel supply and lubricant solutions.

Elite Petroleum's DEF network will include its own fleet of trucks for delivery, as well as the capability to provide customers with dispensing equipment, storage tanks and other handling equipment required for DEF, according to a statement from the company.
