Pilot Flying J recently
opened a new travel center in Lancaster, ONT, which includes bulk
DEF pumps dispensing at the fuel island. This is the country's
fifth DEF pump location. All locations are operated by Pilot Flying
J.
Currently there are four pump locations in Ontario and one in
the province of Quebec. All locations are priced at CAD$0.799/L
($3.02/G). As reported in the last issue of the
DEF Tracker, this is more expensive than the U.S., where the
nationwide average is
$2.75 per gallon.
The new travel center is located at Exit 814 off Highway 401. As
well as DEF at the pump at eleven of its filling lanes, the center
features high-speed fuel pumps and 78 parking spaces for
trucks.
Pilot Flying J leads in developing DEF infrastructure, with 230
locations currently dispensing bulk DEF at the fuel island.
