EXCLUSIVE: Flash Foods opens first bulk DEF pump at Waycross, GA

Fuel card operator and convenience store chain, Flash Foods, has installed a bulk Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) pump at its travel center in Waycross, Southern Georgia.

The DEF pump has been installed as a standalone dispenser in one of the truck stop's filling lanes. Its DEF, supplied by Old World Industries, was retailing at $2.69 per gallon at the time of press. Pumping equipment was supplied by Gilbarco and Benecor, and the DEF storage tank by Modern Welding, Jeannie Amerson, Advertising & Loyalty Manager at Flash Foods told

Located on the South Georgia Parkway (Westbound), the Waycross travel center has medium and heavy-duty truck access, a dedicated truck lane, and is open 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. Flash Foods operates across Georgia and Florida and is currently reviewing plans for further pump installations and the distribution of DEF.
