Love's Travel Stops plans to almost
double the number of its truck stops which offer bulk Diesel
Exhaust Fluid (DEF) at the pump by the end of 2011.
Jenny Love Meyer, Director of Communications at Love's Travel
Stops & Country Stores, told discoverDEF.com: "As more and more 2010
engines have come into the market the demand is starting to
increase and that's driving our decisions. We've got about 70
locations that currently offer bulk DEF at the pump, we are going
to have 125 by year's end."
DEF dispensing units will be supplied by Gilbraco, for the most part. Yara and Old World
Industries will provide the DEF, although the product will not
be branded at the pump.
Meyer added any new location is now being installed with the
capability to offer DEF at every filling lane.
The total number of truck stops offering bulk DEF recently broke the 150 location mark
and, at time of press, had reached 156.
