Detroit Diesel sold more than 25,000
engines equipped with its BlueTec Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR)
technology last year.
Brad Williamson, Director of Engine and Component Marketing at
Daimler Trucks North America, said: "We're proud of our chosen 2010

The BlueTec system uses Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) to reduce NOx
emissions and meet the EPA's 2010 emissions standards for
heavy-duty trucks.
