Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) and equipment supplier TransLiquid Technologies is
developing an overground storage tank which combines a carbon steel
tank with an epoxy coating to provide reduced cost above-ground
storage.
Andy Cuadra, Vice President of Marketing and Sales at
TransLiquid, told DiscoverDEF.com: "The tank itself is listed as a
UL-142 above ground storage tank; the
construction is carbon steel. We have partnered another
organization that can internally coat the storage tank with a new
epoxy coating that has been approved for Diesel Exhaust Fluid
(DEF). Once that initial phase is complete TransLiquid's team
takes over by providing the heating and cooling systems for the
storage vessel.
"This is a combination of engineering and craftsmanship to
create a visually appealing product that can help our customers go
from intermediate bulk into large above ground and underground
applications, such as gas stations."
Cuadra added the company expects demand for bulk storage to
increase towards the end of 2010, particularly around the Gulf
states and Texas.
TransLiquid is group of companies which supplies Diesel Exhaust
Fluid (DEF), green fuels, chemicals, lubricants and equipment to
the USA and Latin America. The organization plans to use large
vertical containers to receive, distribute and package bulk Diesel
Exhaust Fluid (DEF).
